Green Machine: Stage One

Green Machine, Stage One emerged from Potluck collaboration with drama therapist Ioulia Stepanova who developed initial dramaturgy from the original story Green Machine written by Alice Williams during a relapse scare of Hodgkins Lymphoma about a monstrous plant that invades the home of a lovely couple. Reworking the monstrous plant genre the couple have to learn to live with the plant. The first development of Green Machine, supported by Inner West Council’s Edge Spaces Program 2022 developed original devising approaches through workshop style development between mid-career and emerging artists and was presented as work in progress at Balmain Town Hall where it was well received by industry and peers
