Community Workshops

Community Workshops

Our community theatre workshops focus on fun, relaxation and self expression. We work through theatre and performance to support the development of participants’ creative voice. We explore body, voice and text to develop opportunities for performance.

  • Gentle physical movement promotes mindful awareness and safety in the group.

  • Storytelling offers participants an opportunity for creative expression developing their unique voice within the group.

  • Writing individually and together allows participants to shape the work we make, supporting each person to contribute verbally or on paper.

  • Performing for one another develops confidence within the group and allows us to shape work for an audience.

Workshops are a place to meet, make and perform. Valuing each person’s contribution allows the group to develop new ideas. We support the group to bring these ideas to life. Together we discover something new, allowing our creative expression and ourselves to transform.
